Peace in a Turbulent World: Guidance from The Twelve – Oracle Deck of Love and Light

By Carmela Ruggiero

As I sit here dictating these thoughts, I can feel a beautiful vibrational energy coming through me. The inspiration feels strong and emotional, and I feel prompted to record it as it flows. This is not something I normally do in this way, but today I’m simply trusting the moment and allowing the sensations to guide my words.

Sometimes the most powerful messages arrive when we slow down. Today, during a quiet moment of reflection, I pulled a few oracle cards, and the guidance that came through felt deeply meaningful not only for me, but perhaps for you as well.

The message also brought me back to Card 41Peace from The Twelve – The Oracle Deck of Love and Light. This card was channelled for a reason, and today it feels like a gentle reminder to pause, reflect, and become more aware of the present moment and the world around us.

The first card was “Go Within”

This card reminds us that no matter how much we have learned, and no matter how much others may see us as someone they can turn to for guidance, we must always remember to give something back to ourselves.

Because we are sensitive beings, we also need moments to regenerate. We need to reconnect with the healing power of the universe.

Meditation, stillness, and quiet reflection nourish the mind and soul. When we allow ourselves to be still, even for a few minutes, we create balance and contentment within ourselves. From that balance comes clarity. And from clarity comes peace.

Your inner world becomes your environment.

So remember to treat yourself with care and kindness.

Another card I drew was “If the World Around You Seems Turbulent – Stop”

What a powerful reminder.

When life feels chaotic or out of control, it is not a sign that we must push harder. Sometimes it is the moment we are meant to pause.

When we stop and reflect, we reconnect with our guardian spirit and our inner guidance. In the stillness of the mind, answers can appear.

Only when we find balance within ourselves can we influence the energy around us and bring calm to the chaos.

Every journey needs places where we pause, reflect, and breathe.

And at this time of year, this message feels especially important.

The third card was “To Overcome, You First Have to Climb”

Fear can feel heavy. It pulls us down and clouds our thoughts.

But when we shift our focus to the good experiences we have already lived and the bright possibilities ahead of us, our mind becomes lighter. When the mind becomes lighter, we begin to see more clearly.

Our guardian spirit encourages us to overcome the obstacles that stand in our way. When we work through our fears, the dark thoughts begin to fade and the path ahead becomes illuminated.

And once we can see clearly again, we realise that success may be closer than we think.

A light mind rises higher because it is no longer tied down by fear.

Today’s reading also brought other supportive messages:

  • Connection with the Earth, reminding us to stay grounded and mindful of our beautiful planet.

  • Open communication, speaking with love and honesty and allowing ourselves to be heard.

  • Manifesting magic, our dreams, visions, and goals beginning to take form.

  • Increased awareness, trusting our inner voice and deepening our spiritual connection.

For me, this reading felt incredibly aligned with what I experience every day. And perhaps it resonates with you too.

When I pulled a card from the Angels of Light, the message was simple and powerful:

Listen to your inner wisdom.

Choose what is for your highest good.

Communicate clearly and honestly.

Release what no longer serves you.

Welcome and nurture the new in your life.

When challenges appear in our lives, they are not there to defeat us. They are there to show us that once we move through the fear, something new is waiting for us on the other side.

A new chapter is always beginning.

So when the outside world feels chaotic and turbulent, perhaps the most loving thing we can do is this:

Stop.

Go within.

Find clarity.

Find calm.

Find peace.

This is one of the beautiful purposes of working with oracle cards. When you feel worried or uncertain, you can pause, pull a card, and simply reflect on its message.

That moment of reflection can bring incredible insight.

This is exactly why I felt called to reflect on Card 41 – Peace from The Twelve – The Oracle Deck of Love and Light.

The meaning of this card carries a profound message of tranquillity and balance. It reminds us to embrace serenity and let go of inner conflict. It encourages deep healing and alignment with universal love, allowing us to live in harmony with ourselves and the world around us.

This is exactly what The Twelve – The Oracle Deck of Love and Light is for. Each card invites you into self-development, reflection, and healing. The colours, the energy, and the messages are all designed to support you on your journey.

Life does not stop. Life continues to move forward.

But in order to move forward with clarity, sometimes we must stop first.

We stop.

We breathe.

We reflect.

And we reconnect with ourselves.

When we feel nervous or uncertain, it can help to return to our purpose and ask ourselves a powerful question:

How can I make the world a better place?

When we hold that intention, the energy we send into the world changes. The law of attraction begins to work with us because our desire comes from a place of love.

Instead of focusing on negativity, we can choose to focus on the positive. We can send love and healing energy to the places and people who need it most.

But we do not need to absorb the chaos of the world.

We can simply send love, good vibrations, and compassion while remaining centred within our own lives.

Focus on your life.

Focus on the good that already exists.

Be grateful for what you have achieved so far this year.

Gratitude protects our energy.

It is easy to be pulled into darker energies or fearful narratives. But we do not need to go there.

Instead, we can choose peace.

We can choose love.

We can choose clarity.

Take a moment today—even just one minute—to sit still.

Breathe.

Trust that you can move forward.

Trust that you will see things from a new perspective.

Life is about learning.

It is about listening.

It is about understanding.

And when we ask again:

How can I make the world a better place?

The answer often appears quietly, from within.

When we stop the turbulence around us…

When we overcome fear…

When we climb.

We climb the ladder of success in our work.

We climb the ladder of love in our relationships.

We climb the ladder of communication and connection.

Sometimes people simply want to be heard.

Sometimes they just want to feel acknowledged.

Sometimes they only need to know that someone is there for them.

Even a kind word, a moment of listening, or a loving message can make a difference.

Let us choose not to judge.

Let us choose not to become distracted by negativity.

Let us choose not to enter dark places unnecessarily.

Instead, let us become contagious with something else:

Love.

Peace.

Gratitude.

Honesty.

Compassion.

All of these qualities already live within us.

But we can only truly hear them when we go within.

Solitude is not loneliness.

Solitude is nourishment for the soul.

It is a moment to reconnect with ourselves.

To nurture our energy.

To create new possibilities for our lives.

So keep your connection.

Protect your energy.

Hold on to your dreams.

Visualise your success.

Keep your little dream alive.

Do not give up.

That is my message for you today.

I look forward to sharing more reflections, philosophy, and channelled messages with you soon. And if you feel called, you are always welcome to connect with me.

With love and light,

Carmela
