Learning to trust what quietly calls to you. When people discover that I work with crystals, one of the questions I'm asked most often is: "Which crystal should I buy?" It's a perfectly natural question, but my answer usually surprises people. I don't think anyone else can truly choose a crystal for you. Of course, books are wonderful. Teachers have valuable knowledge to share, and researching the properties of crystals can be fascinating.

Sometimes the things we're drawn to only make sense much later. There was a time when I never imagined crystals would become such an important part of my creative and spiritual journey. Like many people, I admired them because they were beautiful. Their colours, textures and unique shapes fascinated me, but I didn't really understand what they were or why so many people spoke about the energy they carried.

At the beginning of January 2026, I felt a strong intuitive impulse to create a drawing inspired by the energetic symbolism of the Fire Horse. In Chinese astrology, the Horse represents movement, vitality and freedom, while the element of Fire brings passion, transformation and dynamic energy. Together, they form a powerful combination associated with courage, creativity and renewal. As I reflected on this energy, an image began to form in my mind.
